Tropical Psammophytes science museum is located on the North Island of Taihu Lake Wetland Park, near the water. The whole Science Museum covers an area of 18000 square meters. The Taihu meteorite science exhibition in the new Expo Pavilion is one of the six evidence chains of Taihu meteorite crater. Lingyun stone comes from the ash layer under the mud at the bottom of Taihu Lake, which is the most direct evidence of the Taihu meteorite strike event. Its shape is similar to that of the iron meteorite Alin.

Located in the east of Taihu Lake Wetland Park, phase I of the park covers an area of about 20000 square meters. It has jungle campsites, lakeside campsites, barbecue sites, water fishing, basketball courts and supporting services for development activities. The whole "LOHAS forest" is divided into three main functional areas: camping area, leisure barbecue area and entertainment interactive area. In the leisure barbecue area, there are 10 large barbecue kiosks and 10 mobile ovens, each of which can accommodate 10 people. Seven masted ancient ship

Development and construction
In March 2007, the construction of Suzhou Taihu Lake National Wetland Park started.
In June 2007, Suzhou Taihu Lake Wetland Park was named provincial wetland park by Jiangsu forestry bureau.
The park was officially opened on February 21, 2010.
In October 2010, it passed the National Wetland Park pilot evaluation.
On March 25, 2011, the State Forestry Administration issued the notice of the State Forestry Administration on Approving the pilot work of National Wetland Park in 45 wetlands in Hebei Province, such as Beidaihe (linshfa [2011] No. 61), and approved the construction of Taihu Lake National Wetland Park (pilot) in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
On September 23, 2011, the Taihu Lake National Wetland Park in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province was officially accepted (linshfa [2011] No. 212).
In 2012, Suzhou Taihu Lake National Wetland Park was rated as a national 4A tourist attraction.
