Hong Kong Disneyland

Hong Kong Disneyland is located on Lantau Island, surrounded by mountains and facing the South China Sea. It is a theme park integrating the characteristics of California Disneyland and other Disneyland.

Hong Kong Disneyland includes seven theme areas: fantasy world, tomorrow world, adventure world, anti combat cavalry base camp, grizzly bear Valley, American town and maze manor. Donald Duck will appear in the 3D Mickey Fantasia; Mickey, Minnie and goofy will show up at the dream garden at any time to meet you closely. Hong Kong Disneyland

Hong Kong Disneyland Disneyland, located on Lantau Island, New Territories, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the people's Republic of China, covers an area of 126 hectares. It was officially opened on September 12, 2005. It is constructed and operated by Hong Kong International Theme Park Co., Ltd., jointly operated by the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Walt Disney Company. It is the fifth Disneyland in the world, the second in Asia and the first Disneyland in China.

The park is divided into seven theme parks, namely: American small town street, adventure world, fantasy world, tomorrow world, Toy Story base, grizzly Valley and maze manor. Grizzly Valley and maze manor are unique in the world. There are theme amusement facilities, entertainment performances, interactive experience, catering services, commodity shops and snack booths in the park. In addition, the park will present a parade performance and fireworks display every evening.

However, there will be several expansion projects in the future, of which the first phase is under construction. Hong Kong Metro has a dedicated Disney line between Xin'ao station and Disney Station, which is the second special railway line to Disney in the world. Hong Kong Disneyland theme song "let's fly" is sung by the honorary ambassador of Hong Kong Disneyland, Jacky Cheung. The official communication languages of the park are English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese).

Hong Kong Disneyland has a number of unique attractions, two Disney theme hotels, and a variety of shopping, catering and entertainment facilities. The park generally includes seven theme areas (8 in California, 7 in Florida, 7 in Tokyo and Shanghai, and 5 in Paris), which are similar to other Disneylands, including "American town street", "anti fighter base camp", "adventure world", "fantasy world" and "Tomorrow World", "grizzly bear Valley" and "maze Manor". In addition to the well-known Disney classic stories and amusement facilities, Hong Kong Disneyland also plans some amusement facilities, entertainment performances and cruises specially designed for Hong Kong in line with the cultural characteristics of Hong Kong. In February 1999, Walt Disney and the government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region officially held negotiations on the construction of Hong Kong Disneyland. On March 3, the budget released by the then financial secretary, Donald Tsang, was confirmed for the first time. On October 31, the two sides reached a cooperation agreement to jointly establish Hong Kong International Theme Park Co., Ltd. to develop the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort including the first phase of Hong Kong Disneyland in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. On November 2, the former chief executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, and Disney executives officially announced the agreement at the Hong Kong government house.

On January 12, 2003, the construction of Hong Kong Disneyland was officially started. It is planned to cost 14.1 billion Hong Kong dollars to build and be designed by the team of Walt Disney fantasy engineers. However, by 2007, the Hong Kong government alone had invested HK $23 billion in the park.

On September 23, 2004, a flat top ceremony was held at the landmark Sleeping Princess Castle in the park. The whole building was completed in the middle of 2005. On June 12, it opened for the first time to entertain the family members of employees. On September 12, 2005, Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong, Chief Executive Donald Tsang and Disney executives officiated at the opening ceremony, which was officially opened at 1 pm on the same day.

On July 13, 2006, Hong Kong Disneyland brought new facilities to its guests, which were officially opened at noon on July 13 for guests to experience. The three new facilities include "nice to meet you, Steve", "Cheche Tiandi" and "UFO zone".

On May 4, 2007, Hong Kong Disneyland transformed the world of adventure into a pirate world, and held "king of demons playing with Disneyland" and launched a number of interesting, innovative and entertaining activities (open from May 4 to June 30, 2007).

On July 14, 2007, to welcome the summer vacation, Hong Kong Disneyland held a "Mickey Mouse" holiday party. It also added two amusement facilities, including "Mickey water parade" and "animation art classroom", and extended pirate world from June 30 to September 2.

In January 2008, Mickey and Minnie wore new red clothes designed by vivienne Tam to welcome the Spring Festival, the traditional Chinese year. On April 15 of the same year, little world held an opening ceremony and officially opened on April 16.

From September 26 to November 1, 2008, Disney black world celebrates Halloween.

On June 30, 2009, the Hong Kong government announced plans to expand the park, including the construction of three new theme parks. On July 10 of the same year, hkitp officially announced that the park would carry out a five-year expansion project, including the construction of three theme areas, namely "yekuang Valley", "maze Manor" and "anti fighter adventure zone".

December 13, 2009 - the park officially starts construction to expand three theme areas (grizzly bear Valley, maze manor, anti fighter base camp), and carries out ground breaking ceremony in the park, and develops new Disney games.

On November 18, 2011, the headquarters of the anti fighter forces opened.

On July 13, 2012, the opening ceremony of the new theme park "grizzly Valley" was held and officially opened on July 14.

Theme park

The new ticket price for 1-day standard ticket (12-64 years old) is 539 Hong Kong dollars (456.533 RMB), and that for children (3-11 years old) is 385 Hong Kong dollars (326.095 RMB). Additional facilities

The proposed expansion plan of Hong Kong Disneyland includes three new theme parks. After the completion of the expansion, more than 30 new facilities will be added, and the total number of facilities in the park will increase by almost half to more than 100. By then, the park will be expanded by about 23%. Disney has promised that the three new parks will not appear in other Disney theme parks around the world within five years after opening.
