Shenzhen Library (Futian District)

The predecessor of Shenzhen library is Baoan County Library. The new Shenzhen library is a large-scale modern cultural facility invested by Shenzhen municipal government. It is located in front of the beautiful lotus mountain in the administrative and cultural center of Shenzhen. The new library covers an area of 29612 square meters, with a total construction area of 49589 square meters. It has a design collection capacity of 4 million books, 2000 reader seats and 3000 network nodes, and can receive 8000 readers per day.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday: 9:00-21:00 (first to fourth floors); 9:00-17:00 (fifth and sixth floors); 12:00-18:00 (children's service area on first floor).

The library is closed on Mondays.

The newspaper reading area on the first floor provides services as usual during 11 national holidays. Service hours: 12:00-18:00
