Meijiawu used to be an unknown small mountain village, and now its permanent population is about 20 There are about 500 families in Meijiawu. Because of Premier Zhou's five visits, the reputation of Meijiawu has greatly increased. There is wufuqiao in the village. I remember that in the 1980s, although Meijiawu was a small mountain village, it was already a place for many foreign guests to visit. The main source of income of Meijiawu villagers was the tea garden all over the mountains. March, April and may were the busiest time for Meijiawu tea farmers, and generally every family had a lot of money We need to invite three or four tea pickers, and more than a dozen people from many tea fields. Because it takes skills to stir fry tea, it's generally not good to stir fry tea for less than ten or twenty years. Now it's possible that this kind of skill will be lost, because the younger generation has already turned a blind eye to stir fry tea, but there are a lot of foreign workers coming here to study. In recent months, the income of tea busy people is not poor, and they have more difficulties Some skilled migrant workers became Meijiawu's son-in-law.
Langmianling
For a long time, the entrance of shililang village is hard to find because of the obstruction of farmhouses. Only when tourists pass through the farmhouses can they see the long mountain forest trails and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountain forest. In order to explore the cultural highlights here, the Construction Office of Meijiawu Tea Culture Village widened the road at the entrance of shililang village, built a stone archway, renovated the surrounding environment, and restored the ancient road with a quiet and clean style.
Li Geng Tang
Li Geng Tang, an ancient house, has also restored the style of the late Qing Dynasty, which is particularly grand in the pink walls and tiles along the street. Li Geng Tang was inscribed by Zhang Zhao, a great calligrapher in the 18th century. It is square and powerful. Zhang Zhao was an official in the three dynasties during the reign of Emperor Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong. Now a piece of Yueyang Tower is written by him.
