Harbin Jewish cemetery was built in 1903, the original site is located in Taian street, Taiping District, Harbin city. The cemetery completely buries the dead according to the Hebrew religious rules, with a church, a rest hall and an office. There are two meter high brick walls around the cemetery, and a square minaret building facing south, which is called "Jewish cemetery". In 1958, Harbin moved the Jewish cemetery to Huangshan in the eastern suburb of the city, covering an area of 836 square meters. Now 605 tombs are preserved. In 1977, Harbin invested heavily in the restoration of the cemetery, and established corridors, fences, halls and guard houses, which were managed by the Huangshan cemetery management office.
