West Coast Park

The west coast belt park is 11 kilometers away from the center of Haikou City, Hainan Province. It is located in the northwest of Haikou City, adjacent to Xiuying port in the East, Xinhai forest farm in the south, Guangdong sea railway channel Wharf in the West and Qiongzhou Strait in the north. It is an open coastal Park.

The west coast belt park stretches along both sides of Binhai Avenue and is adjacent to Qiongzhou Strait in the north, including Xixiu Beach and holiday beach. The total length of the park is about 11 km, with an area of 104.3 hectares and a green space rate of 86%. Nearby is the broad coconut Avenue, and on both sides are sculptures, grasslands, corridors, paths and beaches, with beautiful scenery; in the distance is the mirage like Haikou City on the sea, which is a key project in the construction of Haikou tourist attractions in recent years. The purpose is to provide Haikou citizens and foreign tourists with another good place for leisure and entertainment and a beautiful activity space.

Main attractions

Ten scenic spots have been built or are under construction in the west coast belt park: reverie of the harbor, thousand sails competition, sunset of the west coast, panoramic view of the city, bright moon of the sea, splashing water on the high platform, holiday feelings, yacht dream, blue sea and beautiful scenery of the West Bank. In addition to the tickets required to watch the "water world" performance, these scenic spots are all open-ended, arranged from east to west, inseparable and free for tourists to enjoy. These scenic spots are connected like a string of pearls by the straight and beautiful coconut trees embracing the scenic Avenue, the flat and gorgeous sea view pedestrian path paved with colored bricks.

Xixiu sunset

Just as the name suggests, you need to come here for a walk at sunset to enjoy the scene of sunset, the sea like a mirror, and the flowing light.

A panoramic view of the city

This is the best place to overlook the urban complex and century bridge. Visitors stop and look back to the East. Haikou, a city full of high-rise buildings, seems to be floating on the sea, just like Manhattan in the United States. Many people like to take pictures against it.

High platform splash

This is a water world with ancient Roman architectural style. When night falls, music and lights are like day, there are high diving performances, water ballet and folk performances, which attract a lot of tourists. "Holiday feelings": it's a famous holiday beach, which we will introduce later.

Blue sea and Lin Tao

This is a tropical forest area by the sea. It is full of lush tropical ornamental trees, including more than 3000 coconut trees, 1600 King palm trees, olive trees, etc.

Beautiful scenery of West Bank

This is the last attraction. Here you can enjoy the scenery of Wuyuan river at renhaikou.

Thousands of sails

The country has built a training base for windsurfing here. Visitors can watch the colorful windsurfing plough waves on the sea from a distance, and also experience this exciting water sports.

Yacht dream

This is the ideal dock for sailing. Nearby, there are three exquisite buildings and attached small gardens. They are "Noble Yacht Club", "HNA club" and "Golden Coast Garden". Each of the chic buildings in the sunset shine a dazzling brilliance.

Every weekend or holiday, the west coast belt park with the South Coast feeling has become a beautiful space and "Gold Coast" for people in the city to fly their hearts. Just because it is near Xiuying harbor, the sea water is grayish yellow, and the sand quality of the beach is coarse, which is much worse than that of other cities and counties. On both sides of the belt Park Avenue on the west coast, there are also the Meishi Mayflower Golf Course, Noble Yacht Club, tropical forest Expo Park, tropical ocean world, Guangdong Hainan railway Nangang wharf, Guangdong Hainan railway Haikou railway station and several resort hotels, with a total length of about 13.5 km and a planning area of 4773 hectares.

The West Coast strip park at night becomes a sea of lights. The streetlights, scenic spot lights, colored lights and spotlights on Binhai West Road are in full bloom with 987 pearl streetlights on Guanhai road. In the distance, the lights of high-rise buildings are reflected on the sea, the lights of ships in the sea, the fishing fire on boats, and the twinkling stars in the sky. The west coast has become a strip Park of Hainan Island that never sleeps!
