Guifeng Village
Guifeng village, an administrative village under the jurisdiction of Yangzhong Town, Youxi County, Sanming City, Fujian Province, is a traditional Chinese village. It was built in 1247, the seventh year of Chunyou reign in the Southern Song Dynasty, with an area of 15.39 square kilometers.
Guifeng village was named "Lingtou" in the beginning. Later, because of the wide variety of osmanthus, the name of the village was changed to "Guiling". In the Ming Dynasty, the surname Cai became a famous family in the village. Outsiders began to call Guiling "Cailing" or "cailingtou" and renamed it "Guifeng".
Guifeng village is a traditional Alpine village. From the perspective of spatial form, Guifeng village is a free-form mountain settlement conforming to the contour layout. The whole village is located on three hillsides of the village, facing the valley, and a mountain stream runs through the whole village,

On December 17, 2012, Guifeng village was jointly announced as the first batch of Chinese traditional villages by the Ministry of housing and urban rural development, the Ministry of culture and the Ministry of finance of the people's Republic of China.
On July 23, 2019, Guifeng village was listed in the list of the first batch of national key Rural Tourism Villages by the Ministry of culture and tourism of the people's Republic of China and the national development and Reform Commission.
Village history
The recorded history of Guifeng village can be traced back to the qianning period of Tang Dynasty. According to the records of Youxi County in the Republic of China, "Zishou temple is in the sixteen capitals. It was built in the fourth year of qianning (897)
In the first year of Tang Guangqi (885), the ancestors of Guifeng village entered Fujian Province from Wang Chao and Wang Shenzhi with the help of Yuan Sangong.
In the first year of Jingkang of Song Dynasty (1126), the ancestor of Guifeng village moved from Xianyou, Putian, to baiyehuangkengkou, Zhangxi, the 17th capital of Youxi.
In the first year of the Qing and Yuan Dynasties of the Song Dynasty (1195), Huang Gong, the grandson of Chen Gong, moved to sanshijingtouwan, the 16th capital.
In 1247, the seventh year of Chunyou in the Southern Song Dynasty, Cai Chang, the ninth grandson of CAI Xiang, a scholar of Duanming temple and calligrapher in the Northern Song Dynasty, discovered that Guifeng is a beautiful place with beautiful mountains and rivers, which can be used as a place to settle down. Since he moved to Guifeng village in sanshijingtouwan, he settled down in the ancestral temple. Therefore, the ancestral temple became the place where Cai family settled down in Guifeng, and the village was initially named "Lingtou".
In the early Yuan Dynasty, other surnames of Guifeng village either moved out or disappeared, but the descendants of Cai family began to open up wasteland on a large scale, build villages, lay stone roads, and plant Osmanthus fragrans widely, so the name of the village was changed to "Guiling".
In the 20th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1283), the fifth grandson of Changgong built the stone bridge at the head of the gate.
In the early years of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty, Youxi district was divided into 50 capitals, and Guifeng was the central village of 16 capitals.
From the 39th year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (1560) to the 30th year of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty (1760), this period was the heyday of Guifeng development. According to records, nearly 30 new Chinese houses were built during this period. At the same time, the "ancestral hall of Cai" was built and the "ancestral temple" was rebuilt.
On April 27, the 32nd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1604), the stone bridge was destroyed by fire in Guifeng village. On December 25 of the same year, the Shiyin bridge was rebuilt.
In 1614, the genealogy of Guifeng village was compiled for the first time.

Yinqiao Haoyue
Yinqiao Haoyue, the so-called Yinqiao, or "shiyinqiao", is located in the center of Guifeng village. It was first built in 1604, the 32nd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. It was named because there was a huge stone like seal under the bridge. There are four Osmanthus fragrans and two Bauhinia trees around the stone bridge.
