Xiaolongmen

The first volume of Datong county annals compiled by Li Zhongfu in 1831 (the 10th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty) contains the picture of Xiaolongmen. The mountain on the picture is steep. The water flows down from the three caves. The waves hit the rocks. It's magnificent. The words on the picture are: "the waves are on the thousand layers, and the sound is ten feet high.". From the poems of Datong people in the Qing Dynasty, we can also appreciate the landscape of the small dragon gate at that time: "the waves and waves are startling, ten thousand horses are running, and the weather is actually dragon gate; the golden scale jumps, the clouds are beautiful, the stone palace opens, the tiger and the leopard squat." (Huang Wenjie); "the mountains on both sides of the Strait shake and the mountains shake, and the current electricity turns on the thunder" (Guo tinghuai). According to the county annals, there was a Longmen Bridge built here. It was built for Xie Ming and others to "chisel stones into the middle stream, with Yu Liang on the top and three holes on the bottom.". During the Jiajing period, the Marquis Yue of Xunfu was named "Xiaolongmen" Although it has been demolished, a cave still exists.

Xiaolongmen

Xiaolongmen is located five kilometers downstream of Cetian Reservoir ecotourism scenic spot, in Yanggao County, Shanxi Province, about 60 kilometers away from the urban area.

Hongmen temple and Longmen Bridge

The North Bank of the lake is covered with green trees, and the castle on the south bank is connected with the sky. The original temple between the steep mountains in the Southwest has been completely restored, known as Hongmen temple. There is a hole in the northeast part of the mountain, which is called "elephant trunk". Comparing with the map in the county annals, we can see that this hole is one of the remaining holes in the original Longmen Bridge. According to the county annals, the Longmen Bridge and Puji bridge (tiesuoqiao) are "mixed into one and wrong" in the local annals. In people's stories and some newly printed written materials, it is still believed that Longmen Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge, which is obviously inconsistent with the existing bridge openings.

Crouching tiger stone

There is a crouching tiger stone in an open field in the shade of the north bank. According to legend, it is the Taibai tiger, one of the eighteen Arhats. In the west, there are several rows of farmyard. In the room, there are big Kang. The house is full of farmyard atmosphere. In the yard, there are grapes, chickens and rabbits. Xiaolongmen is a unique scenic spot with well protected natural landscape and beautiful ecological environment.
