Hongqi Village

Hongqi village is located in the middle of Antu County, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, 72 kilometers away from the county, 140 kilometers away from Yanji City, and 150 kilometers away from Changbai Mountain. The Mingdong highway leading to Changbai mountain passes through the village. Hongqi village is a pure Korean Village on the way from Antu to Changbai Mountain.

On December 25, 2019, it will be included in the list of the first batch of national forest villages published by the State Forestry and grassland administration.

On June 9, 2020, it will be selected into the list of the first batch of provincial key Rural Tourism Villages in Jilin Province.

The village is located in an open area in the mountains, close to the mountains and rivers. Many houses with ethnic architectural style are neatly arranged on both sides of the stream. Here we can appreciate the traditional local feelings of the Korean people.

Every time after work, the men, women, old and young in the village gather together to dance colorful Korean dances. From time to time, people come out to sing ancient and beautiful folk songs. The strong atmosphere of joy makes people in the carnival. Over the years, Hongqi village has comprehensively strengthened the rural environmental protection, vigorously developed folk custom tourism, strengthened the infrastructure construction and spiritual civilization construction of the village, made great efforts to build ecological civilization, promoted the harmonious development of human and nature, and constantly stepped up the development of the whole village to a new level.

Honorary title

Hongqi village in Antu County was awarded the title of "the first batch of national ecological villages" by the Ministry of environmental protection of the people's Republic of China.

On June 9, 2020, it will be selected into the list of the first batch of provincial key Rural Tourism Villages in Jilin Province.
