Changzhi Medical College

Changzhi Medical College is located in Changzhi City, the ancient city of Shangdang. It is a full-time university under the supervision of Shanxi Provincial Department of education. Founded in 1946, the college was established and developed under the kind care of the older generation of revolutionaries such as Liu Bocheng, Deng Xiaoping and Bo Yibo. In the past 60 years, the college has trained and transported a large number of high-quality medical and health talents for the society, and has made positive contributions to the cause of China's Liberation and socialist modernization. In 2004, the college successfully passed the undergraduate teaching evaluation conducted by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China.

At present, the college has medical, engineering, management and other disciplines, initially forming a multi-disciplinary, multi professional coordinated development pattern. There are 12 undergraduate programs in clinical medicine, obstetrics and gynecology (direction), nursing, medical imaging, biomedical engineering, medical laboratory, anesthesiology, Stomatology, pharmacy, information management and information system, applied psychology and rehabilitation therapy, and 12 undergraduate programs in clinical medicine, nursing, optometry technology, computer application technology, medical laboratory technology and stomatology technology There are 9 higher vocational and technical education majors, such as, pharmacy, medical cosmetology technology, music rehabilitation technology, and various adult higher education undergraduate and specialized majors. Over the years, the college has attached great importance to the construction of teaching staff. There are more than 300 professors, associate professors, chief and deputy chief physicians in the teaching staff, and 40% of the full-time teachers have obtained master's and doctor's degrees. In order to improve the quality of undergraduate education, the college has hired foreign teachers to teach in the college for a long time, and also invited famous professors from Northern Jiaotong University, Central South University and other universities to give lectures or lectures for undergraduate students. The library has a collection of nearly 700000 books and more than 1000 kinds of Chinese and foreign periodicals. Each professional laboratory has beautiful environment and advanced equipment. In recent years, there are more than 80 kinds of undergraduate and junior college textbooks edited and participated in by teachers of our college.
