Historical traceability

In 1912, the first middle school in Anton, Sanyu Middle School, was founded, and Yu Chengen was the first principal. After Bao Leshen, the second president of Sanyu Middle School, stepped down in 1929, the president of Sanyu Middle School was assumed by a Chinese person, Mr. Cui Yulin, who had taught in Peiping Yuying Middle School and Huiwen Middle School, and Mr. Lu Jingmin from Shandong Qingdao University. In 1938, Wu Lishen became the principal of Sanyu Middle School, hoping to save the school facing misfortune by replacing it with a foreign person. But in the end, the school was forced to close on July 30, 1942. From 1912 to 1942, Sanyu Middle School operated in Anton for 30 years. In 1946, Wu Lishen returned home with his family. In 1948, Wu Lishen returned to China and left China in 1950 after assisting in the establishment of Liaodong Li'andong Agricultural College on the original site of Chachaigou Sanyu Middle School.

In 1950, Anton Agricultural College was renamed as Liaodong Li'andong Agricultural College, which was the beginning of higher education of Liaodong University. In 1962, Liaodong Li'andong Agricultural College (part) was renamed as Liaoning Xiongyue Agricultural College after rectification, and later developed into Liaoning Agricultural Vocational and Technical College. Liaodong Li'andong Agricultural College (part) was transformed into Dandong Agricultural College, and later developed into the Agricultural College of Liaodong University through multiple mergers and reorganization. Then there are Danshi, Silk School, Finance School, Health School, Staff University, Teachers' College, Danda University, University Medical Branch, Finance College, Textile College, Dandong College, Vocational College and other different historical periods.

Dandong Teachers College was founded in December 1978. Dandong Teachers College is one of the three earliest teachers colleges in Liaoning Province. It was once a first-class and well-known normal college in the province. In 1988, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the founding of Dandong Teachers College, Mr. Qigong personally delivered a special speech for Dandong Teachers College, "Cultivate people in ten years, update everything, promote the four modernizations, and promote Changchun". In 1993, it was renamed Dandong Normal College.

In 1949, the industry in Northeast China accounted for 85% of the total industrial value of the country. In the 1950s and 1970s, the financial talents in the Northeast mainly came from the Northeast University of Finance and Economics, which could not meet the demand for financial personnel from the rapidly developing industry and commerce in the Northeast at that time. Therefore, the finance departments of the Northeast provinces set up financial schools in succession to cultivate medium financial talents.

In March 1957, Liaoning Provincial Cadre School was established in Shenyang. The purpose of the school is to train on-the-job financial and economic cadres in Liaoning Province, and to recruit a certain number of students in the province for formal financial and accounting education, so as to cultivate application-oriented talents for enterprises and institutions. In 1961, the school moved from Shenyang to Yuanbao District, Dandong City as a whole, and in 1963, it was renamed as Liaoning Provincial School of Finance and Economics with the approval of the provincial government. The address is located at the Medical College of Liaodong University, Jingshan Street, Yuanbao District. The establishment of the School of Finance and Economics has improved the professional quality of the accounting team in Liaoning Province and the financial management ability. But nothing can be accomplished overnight. At the beginning, due to the limited number of teachers and the size of the school, the number of students recruited was not large, and only more than 200 people graduated a year, which still could not meet the needs of Liaoning Province for financial talents. Since the 1980s, nearly 400 people can graduate a year. In the 30 years before the establishment of the school, 3633 technical secondary school graduates, 2272 graduates of the cadre specialized class, 8203 in-service cadres trained in the school, and 19165 accounting cadres trained outside the school have been trained for the society, which can be said to be full of peach and plum trees.

After 1968, the education of Liaoning Provincial Finance and Economics School fell into a low ebb, which led to the fault of accounting personnel of Liaoning provincial authorities and enterprises. The society is in urgent need of a large number of accounting personnel with professional knowledge. In response to this situation, the Liaoning Provincial Department of Finance decided to carry out special functional technical education for relevant personnel on the job to improve their business level to meet the needs of enterprise management and accounting.

In 1977, the national college entrance examination was resumed. On March 8 of the following year, Liaoning Provincial School of Finance and Economics officially opened. At that time, there was a shortage of teaching materials, so Xu Taifeng, the Dean of Academic Affairs, prepared the accounting teaching materials himself, writing one week's lecture notes at a time, and then making them rigid and printed. Most teachers in other subjects also wrote textbooks in person, so teachers' teaching level and their own education improved significantly. Later, their textbooks were selected by 17 provinces and cities nationwide, and more than 70 textbooks monographs were published. In addition, Yang Weizu, the then president, was the lecturer of Financial Accounting in the Chinese Correspondence School sponsored by the Ministry of Finance; Su Yusheng, Vice President, and Zhao Yinglan, Director of the Teaching and Research Office, are senior scholars of accounting in China and have participated in the compilation of national unified textbooks for many times. This reflects from one side that the School of Finance and Economics had a strong faculty and a high level of knowledge at that time. With such a strong faculty, the school has cultivated a number of excellent financial management talents.

In December 1984, Liaoning Provincial School of Finance and Economics established a correspondence department. Relying on the financial bureaus of each city, it established 15 correspondence stations and more than 50 correspondence points under the direct jurisdiction of the Provincial Department of Finance. Zhang Shiyou, 67, once the director of the correspondence department of the school, said: "Correspondence education is a major feature of the school, which attracts many students." In 1985, the school enrolled more than 5500 students at one time. The next year, it enrolled more than 2000 students. In two years, it enrolled more than 8000 students, which is 2.5 times of the total number of graduates of the school in the past 30 years.

With the first batch of students entering the university, they have a need to continue their studies. The Finance School is only a technical secondary school, which can not meet their wishes. Luan Dejun, then Deputy Director of Correspondence Department of Liaoning Finance and Economics School, was a graduate of the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee. He knew that the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee could recruit students independently for undergraduate education, but they lacked economic teachers, which was exactly the specialty of correspondence education of Liaoning Finance and Economics School. Therefore, the idea of jointly running a school with the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee to recruit financial college students came into being. He found the leaders of the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee and proposed to rely on 15 correspondence teaching stations in the province to be responsible for teaching. Finally, the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee issued certificates to meet the needs of students. The leaders of the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee approved this proposal. Finally, after discussion, they thought it was more appropriate for the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee to rely on the Party Schools of each city. In those years, the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee recruited students in each city. Many courses were taught by teachers from various correspondence stations. Correspondence graduates from Liaoning Finance and Economics School became an important source of students in the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee. Over the years, tens of thousands of college graduates have been trained throughout the province.

In 1985, based on Liaoning Provincial School of Finance and Economics, it began to prepare for the establishment of colleges and universities. In 1987, Liaoning Financial College was established. In 1994, it was renamed Liaoning Finance College.

Dandong Textile College (hereinafter referred to as Dandong Textile College) is located in Wenhua Road, Toad Pond Town, where there are many colleges and universities in Dandong. Dandong Textile College was founded in March 1990. Its predecessor was Dandong University and Dandong Silk Industrial School. In October 1989, it was decided at the Dandong Mayor's Office Meeting that Dandong University, a local university established in 1983, and Dandong Silk Industrial School, a secondary technical school affiliated to the former Ministry of Textile Industry of China, which was established in 1958, should be merged into a local engineering university.
