Yantai golden vocational college is a full-time general college approved by Shandong Provincial People's government and registered by the Ministry of education in January 2016. The college has a tentative scale of 6000 students and will recruit students in autumn 2016.

The college is located in the Binhai New Area of Zhaoyuan City, Yantai, the "golden capital of China". The college took three years to complete. The overall planning land of the campus is 1700 mu. The first phase of the project covers an area of 585.3 mu, and the campus building area is 108000 m2.
