Chongqing resources and environmental protection vocational college is a full-time ordinary university approved by Chongqing Municipal People's government and put on record by the Ministry of education in 2015. The college is located in Dazu District of Chongqing, the hometown of stone carving and the capital of hardware in Western China. At present, the college has 7 departments: Department of environmental engineering, Department of environmental science, Department of circular economy and low carbon economy, Department of ecological environment, Department of environmental art, Department of construction management and Department of public management. According to the concept of the whole process management of environmental protection, it is planned to set up a professional system with full coverage from the source clean production of environmental protection to the intermediate circular economy and then to the end project management and its extension. In the first phase, more than 20 specialties and professional directions were set up, including environmental engineering technology, environmental assessment and consulting services, environmental art design, project cost, real estate operation and management, road maintenance and management, pollution remediation and ecological engineering technology, accounting, Internet finance, etc. Among them, the major of environmental assessment and consulting service is the only one in Higher Vocational Colleges in our city, and the major of environmental engineering technology has won the first batch of municipal teaching resource database construction projects. It is a full-time ordinary university which focuses on the cultivation of resources and environmental protection professionals.

At present, the college has 100 full-time and part-time teachers, of which 30% have the title of deputy senior or above. In addition, the college will hire experts from enterprises to serve as double qualified teachers. At the same time, we will also employ famous experts, scholars and front-line engineering and technical personnel from the environmental protection industry as part-time visiting professors. Relying on Chongqing University, Southwest University, Logistics Engineering College of the people's Liberation Army, Chongqing Democratic League and Chongqing Engineers Association, we will introduce high-level teachers and build a first-class full-time and part-time teaching team. The college will also establish a training base for "double qualified teachers" in Chongqing Vocational Education, establish a training center for environmental protection cadres, and carry out the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship Park for college students.

The first phase of the college has completed more than 60000 square meters of buildings (including teaching building, training building, library, office building, male and female students' apartment, student canteen, stadium and other main works), as well as roads, pipe network, strong electricity, weak electricity, fire protection, environmental greening and other basic supporting facilities, which were completed in July 2016 and passed the acceptance.

The college attaches importance to the construction of training base, and has established atomic absorption spectrophotometer room, basic chemistry laboratory, sand table training room, professional computer room, public computer room, voice room, studio, etc. The college has invested more than 10 million yuan in teaching and training equipment, purchased 50 sets of multimedia projection teaching system and 300 teaching computers. Every seat and bed in the campus broadband network has information points. The college website, campus video server, teaching resource server, financial management system, library management query system, student evaluation system, etc. have been established. Strive to reach 500000 books (including e-books) in five years, and meet the needs of more than 8000 students at the same time.

The college attaches great importance to school enterprise cooperation, and has signed school enterprise cooperation agreements with a number of enterprises. It has carried out extensive cooperation in specialty construction, training base construction, curriculum and textbook development, temporary training of teachers, staff training, student internship and employment, and covers all specialties. We also signed an order form cooperation agreement with Chongqing Golden Land Landscape Engineering Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Nachuan Engineering Technology Group Co., Ltd., which promised to solve the problem of graduate employment of students majoring in environmental art design, road maintenance and management of our university; at the same time, we introduced enterprise management mode and methods, and constantly innovated the mechanism; According to the post needs, we should jointly formulate curriculum standards, develop professional core courses and teaching materials, and carry out applied research and technology development, so as to deeply integrate schools and enterprises, and work together to educate people.
