The Academy of the Chinese people's Armed Police Force (hereinafter referred to as the Academy of the armed police force) was founded in 1981, under the Ministry of public security. It is an active service undergraduate college to train command and management and professional technical police officers for the public security frontier, fire control and security forces. The 2014 higher education self-study examination of the Armed Police College, a full-time student course of fire engineering major, is now open to the whole country.
