Guangxi Institute of education, founded in 1953, has a history of 58 years. It is the only adult undergraduate college directly under the autonomous region and undertakes the task of general college degree education. The school is located in the center of Nanning City, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. At present, the college has 10 departments, including Chinese Department, mathematics and computer science department, foreign language department, political economy department, tourism and environment department, information science and Technology Department, art department, cultural communication department, education science department and education management department, with a total of 36 general specialty (including professional direction), 25 adult undergraduate specialty and 18 adult specialty, which are distributed in law, pedagogy, education science and technology department Literature, art, history, management, science, engineering, etc. It has established 13 research institutes including human resources, public administration, information science and technology, ecological culture, psychology, educational science, ideological and political education, moral education, special education, cross-border education, curriculum and teaching theory, school development and higher education. The library has more than 400000 paper books, 20000 e-books and 2392 Chinese and foreign periodicals. One hundred students are equipped with 24 teaching computers, 44 seats in multimedia classrooms and voice labs, all exceeding the quota standard of the Ministry of education. There are 216 full-time teachers in the college, including 108 with senior professional titles (28 with senior professional titles and 80 with deputy senior professional titles), accounting for 50% of the total number of full-time teachers; 126 with doctor's and master's degrees, accounting for 58% of the total number of full-time teachers, all higher than the average level of colleges and universities in the region. The college has a group of well-known experts and scholars, doctoral students, master's tutors, etc. in addition, a group of famous experts and scholars inside and outside the district are employed as honorary or part-time professors of our college. Our college is a training base for primary and secondary school teachers and education management cadres in Guangxi, a training base for educational theory of qualification recognition of primary and secondary school teachers in Guangxi, a training and testing base for Putonghua level in Guangxi, and a research base for education and teaching reform in primary and secondary schools in Guangxi. Long term undertaking the task of training primary and secondary school teachers and principals, undertaking the work of primary and secondary school teacher qualification examination, and carrying out extensive research on primary and secondary school education and teaching reform. Guangxi primary and secondary school teachers' Continuing Education Guidance Center, Guangxi primary and secondary school mental health education guidance center, the Secretariat of Guangxi Education Association, the Secretariat of talent training evaluation committee of Guangxi Higher Vocational Colleges, and Guangxi Tao Xingzhi Research Association are all located in our college.
