Yongcheng vocational college is located in Yongcheng City, Henan Province, which is known as "the land of Hanxing, the hometown of flour, the capital of energy and the ecological city". It is a national public full-time general college. The predecessor of the school is Yongcheng normal school, which was founded in 1956. Since its establishment, it has trained more than 20000 talents for the society. The college has 111 productive and simulative teaching experiments and training places, which integrate physical, virtual and simulation technologies, and has a training base - "coal mine safety training base" supported by the central government. The rich and colorful club activities provide a platform for students to show their personality and talents. At present, the college has 25 student associations, among which "Juyi calligraphy and Painting Association", "wing dance bar dance association", "xingmengyi Music Association" and "xinyuehua Drama Association" have been rated as "excellent student associations in Henan Province". At the same time, the college actively organized students to participate in social practice activities. In 2007 and 2008, the college was awarded the advanced unit of social practice activities of "three visits to the countryside" for college students in summer vacation in Henan Province.

The college attaches great importance to the employment of graduates. A special employment guidance agency has been set up to actively recommend graduates to work in local large and medium-sized enterprise groups such as Yongmei Group and Shenhuo Group. In order to further broaden the employment channels and expand the scope of employment, the college has also set up offices in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Shanghai, Suzhou, Qingdao and other places, which are responsible for the internship of students and the placement of graduates.
