PLA naval submarine Academy

The Naval Submarine Academy of the Chinese people's Liberation Army (PLA) is a key military academy for training junior and middle level military command and engineering technical officers of the naval submarine and defense and rescue forces. Its main task is to train all kinds of command officers, missile defense and rescue engineering technical officers and professional technicians of the naval submarine and defense and rescue forces. It has the right to confer master's and bachelor's degrees. The college is located in the beautiful coastal city of Qingdao, with elegant environment and pleasant climate. The Submarine Academy of the PLA Navy is a highly professional technical command academy directly under the PLA Navy. It is the only submarine arms college in Asia. The college was founded in August 1953. In September 1957, it was renamed the naval submarine School of the Chinese people's Liberation Army. In 1983, it was renamed the Naval Submarine Academy of the Chinese people's Liberation Army.

The Naval Submarine Academy of the Chinese people's Liberation Army was authorized to confer bachelor's degree in 1985 and master's degree in 1989. There are hundreds of teachers in the hospital, of which about one fourth are professors, associate professors, senior engineers and teachers. The college has 38 teaching and research departments and their corresponding laboratories, and a number of more advanced instruments have been widely used in the fields of teaching, scientific research and teaching management. The library is characterized by submarine and rescue specialty, with a construction area of 3300 square meters, a collection of 400000 books, more than 1500 Chinese and foreign periodicals, and an electronic reading room.. In addition, there are two standard stadiums with an area of 28000 square meters in the hospital, as well as various sports facilities such as equipment field and swimming pool. There are also bathing grounds in the hospital, creating a good environment for improving the physical quality of students.
