Hefei Binhu vocational and technical college is an ordinary university approved by Anhui Provincial People's government and registered by the Ministry of education in 2002. It is located in the core area of Hefei City, which is known as "a great lake city and an innovation highland", adjacent to Chaohu Lake, one of China's five major freshwater lakes, with obvious regional advantages.

The college covers an area of more than 560 mu, with a building area of more than 170000 square meters, a collection of more than 500000 books, more than 30 experimental and training rooms, and a total value of nearly 20 million yuan of equipment.
