Jinzhong vocational and technical college was established in December 2004 with the approval of Jinzheng Han [2004] No. 201 issued by the people's Government of Shanxi Province. It is a public higher vocational college formed by the original Jinzhong agricultural school, Jinzhong finance and trade school, Jinzhong supply and marketing school, Jinzhong coal technical secondary school and the upgraded four technical secondary schools. The college covers an area of 416 mu, with a total construction area of 117457.10 square meters, teaching room area of 64986.45 square meters, and practice room area of 86187.60 square meters. Relying on the former Jinzhong agricultural school, the school has a new construction area of 93633 square meters, with an investment of 158 million yuan.
