Hebei Vocational Art College

Hebei art vocational college, founded in 1955, is the only state-run full-time comprehensive art college in Hebei Province. After the development stages of Hebei opera school, Hebei opera school and Hebei art school, it was upgraded to higher vocational college with the approval of Hebei provincial government in 2001. In more than 60 years of school running history, the college takes root in the fertile soil of Yanzhao culture, breeds and inherits the river art spirit of "love students as children, love school as home, love art as life", and forms a unique school running tradition and characteristics. The college has been rated as "provincial and ministerial key ordinary secondary professional art school", "provincial civilized unit" and "national advanced collective of cultural work". The college is the intangible cultural heritage communication base in Hebei Province, and also the only national vocational skill appraisal and examination center in the cultural industry.

The college is located in Qingyuan street, Shijiazhuang city. There are more than 3000 full-time students and more than 300 teaching staff, including 204 full-time teachers and 80 people with the title of deputy high or above. In addition, a large number of famous artists such as Yu Kuizhi, Li Shengsu, Yu Wenhua, Liang Zhaojin, Yu Lina and Wang Shaojun have been employed as visiting professors.

The college holds art education at higher vocational and technical secondary levels, with departments of drama, music, dance, fine arts, art education, film and television, media, cultural management, and teaching departments such as basic teaching department, social education department, and technical secondary school department. At present, there are 37 Junior College majors (including directions) and 5 secondary school enrollment majors. Among them, music performance (vocal direction) is a provincial demonstration major in Hebei Province, and Hebei Folk Dance, vocal performance, landscape painting technology, teachers' dance skills, career development and employment guidance are provincial excellent courses in Hebei Province. The dance department has established the first national dance training base supported by the central government in Hebei Province. Two "capacity building projects of central financial support for professional service industry development" of film and television advertising major and Fine Arts (stage art direction) major have passed the acceptance of the expert group.

In the course of running the college, there are many famous teachers and remarkable achievements in education. Song Dezhu, Jia Guilan, Liu Xiangyu, Qi Lanqiu, Zhou Shutang, Wang huaiqi, Zhang Rongpei, Jin Xueqin, Luo Huilan, Qian Haoliang, Ma Zixing, Xiao Yuezhu, Yang Zhenghua and many other famous artists have been teaching in the school. They have trained 24 winners of Chinese drama "plum blossom Award", such as Xin Baoda, Li Shengsu, Peng Huijuan, Xu Heying, and trained Yu Wenhua, Liang Zhaojin, Yu Lina He has trained a group of artists represented by Wang Shaojun and Zhang Guojun, literary theorists represented by Pang Yanqiang and Zhou Daming, dance educators represented by Yang Yong, Zhang Lijun and Li Beida, movie stars represented by Zhao yanguozhang and Yang Zhigang, and more than 13000 cultural and artistic talents. Based on the motto of "advocating morality, advocating art, seeking beauty and innovation", the college closely relies on the cultural industry, promotes the cooperation between schools and enterprises, and forms an education mode of promoting practice by teaching and leading teaching by practice. In the past three years, he has independently created Hebei Bangzi "Meng Jiangnu", "sacrifice" and dance drama "Hongshan goddess", which has achieved good repercussions both inside and outside the province. In 2014, the college launched the activity of "improving quality and efficiency" in talent training. Teachers and students have won many excellent achievements in a number of major national art competitions. They have won the gold award of "Wenhua Art Academy Award" National Youth Drama Competition, the gold award of CCTV learning Beijing competition and the first prize of national vocational college skills competition. The level and number of awards are among the top of similar colleges in China. In the past three years, teachers and students have won more than 200 awards in professional competitions at or above the provincial level.
