Hohhot University for nationalities is an ordinary undergraduate university sponsored by the people's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is located in the urban area of Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Founded in 1953, the school is the earliest ethnic college in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
