According to the spirit of the notice of the general office of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and the general office of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government on printing and distributing the opinions of the Guangdong Provincial Organization Committee on the implementation of the institutional reform of institutions directly under the provincial government (YBF [1996] No. 22) and the Reply of the Guangdong Provincial People's Government on Approving the establishment of the Guangdong Judicial Police Vocational College (YFH [2002] No. 146), the general office of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and the general office of the Guangdong Provincial People's government issued the notice on April 19, 2002 On the basis of the combination of law school and Guangdong judicial police school, Guangdong judicial police vocational college was established. It is a provincial public full-time higher vocational school with higher academic qualifications.

The college has two campuses, Longdong and Shijing, and Zengcheng training and teaching base. The college is under the guidance of the Department of education and the Ministry of education. The college is the higher law education base of judicial administration system, the cadre training base of judicial administration system, and the theoretical research base of prison and reeducation through labor. The college covers an area of 308.8 mu. The college has 308 staff.

1、 The main task of running a school

（1） Vocational education for judicial police officers and college degree education in law should be carried out;
