Herbs perennial, up to 80 cm tall. Stem erect, upper part branched, whole plant covered with white pubescence. Leaves alternate, oblong to broadly lanceolate, 4-12 cm long, 1-3.5 cm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate, margin regularly triangular serrate; petiole. The inflorescence consists of panicles, terminal, involucral bracts in a row; the flowers are yellow, ligulate, degenerate, tubular, bisexual. Achenes with long crested hairs.
It is distributed in Tibet and other places.
[collection] harvest from July to September.
Bitter, cold.
Functions and indications: dispelling wind and removing dampness, clearing heat and detoxifying, relieving itching, treating acute conjunctivitis, sores, dermatitis, traumatic injury.
[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 1-3 yuan.
