[source] it is the root of Sinomenium bicolor.
[plant morphology] double seed vine, also known as Gemini brown.
Shrubby, stem brown. Leaves large, terminal, unequally pinnately divided, leaflets few, rhombic, grayish white below, margin erosive, veins fan-shaped. The fleshy inflorescence is extracted from the foliage, with many spathes, unisexual flowers, slightly larger and yellow; the male flower has cup-shaped calyx, 3-lobed petals, leathery petals and stamens of 10-30; the female flower is nearly spherical, sepals are round, petals are thick, triangular, ovary of 2-3-locular. The fruit is spherical.
It grows under the hillside forest or near the bamboo forest. Distributed in Yunnan and other places
