[plant morphology] Lespedeza viridis, also known as: Lespedeza woody, Lespedeza Baishi, Aconitum carmichaeli, Trifolium repens, Santou grass, golden belt, Trifolium repens, Aconitum dauricum, zhitianwen, juyao, doujiao, nujindan, Aconitum carmichaeli, mucilaginosum.

Deciduous shrub, 1-2m high. The leaflets are long ovate or elliptic, 1.8-7 cm long and 1-4 cm wide. The apex is sharp, yellowish green, smooth on the top, with white hairs, and light brown hairs on the bottom, especially near the midrib. Inflorescence racemose, axillary; bracteoles 2, below calyx; sepals lanceolate, 5-lobed, densely hairy; corolla butterfly, 8 mm long, yellow, base of wing and flag often purple, flag shorter than keel; stamens 10, 2-somatized; ovary superior, style incurved, stigma small, terminal. Pods long obovate, reticulate veined, lower part and stipe villous. The flowering period is from July to August. The fruiting period is September.

Growing in hillside jungle or roadside weeds. It is distributed in Henan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Fujian, Taiwan, Guizhou, Hubei, Sichuan, Shanxi, Gansu, etc.
