Xuewu

[source] it is the whole plant of Aconitum glaucum in Ranunculaceae.
[plant morphology] Aconitum carmichaeli
Perennial herbs, 8-30 cm high. The root tuber is small and spindle shaped. Stem orbicular purplish, sparsely puberulent or almost glabrous. The leaves are round or kidney shaped, 1-3 cm long, 2-6.8 cm wide, 3-7-lobed, each lobe 2-3-lobed with round teeth, glabrous on both sides or with sparse short hairs on the veins; cauline leaves 1-4, smaller. Panicle lax, axillary or terminal, with 3-5 flowers; bracteoles narrowly ovate to broadly striped; sepals 5, blue purple, upper sepals boat shaped, lower margin 1.4-2.2 cm long; petals 2, glabrous, petals 0.6-1.5 mm long, absent or short; stamens numerous; carpels 5, glabrous.
It grows on grass slope or gravel in high mountains. It is distributed in Northwest Yunnan, eastern Tibet, Western Sichuan, Qinghai, Gansu, Shaanxi and other places.
[collection] from August to September, the whole grass was collected, washed, cut into sections and dried in the sun.
It is cold in nature, numb in taste and has little poison.
