Shrub, 1-2m high. Branchlets densely brown pubescent. The leaflets are oblong to obovate long elliptic, the lower leaflets are smaller, 1.5-4 cm long, the apical leaflets are larger, 4-6 cm long, the apex is acuminate, sometimes obtuse, the base is cuneate to round, the whole margin, the upper part is covered with light rusty short hairs, later becomes glabrous, and the lower part is covered with light rusty hairs. Raceme axillary exophytic, often close to opposite leaves; calyx campanulate, 5 shallow notched, covered with light rust colored pubescence; corolla butterfly shaped, light yellow, flag petal narrow obovate, wing petal and keel petal claw; stamen 10, filament base hairy; ovary hairy, stigma capitate. The pod is 2-5 cm long. Seeds 1-3. The flowering period is May. The fruit period is from July to August.
