[plant morphology] Raspberry
Deciduous shrub, 1-3 m high. Branchlets and petioles with needlelike spines and gray white hairs, mixed with glandular hairs. Leaves alternate, papery, suborbicular or broadly ovate, 4.5-8 cm long and 4.5-9 cm wide, apex apical, base cordate, margin technically notched and irregularly serrulate, upper main vein with short hairs, lower dense gray hairs; petiole 1.5-3 cm long; stipules lacerated linear to triangular; panicle terminal, total pedicel and pedicel densely tomentose; bracts 2, linear ; calyx 5-lobed, lanceolate; petals 5-lobed, white, obovate; stamens numerous, separated; pistils numerous. Aggregate fruit nearly round, purple brown. The flowering period is from July to August. The fruit period is from October to November.
It grows on slopes, streams, roadside grass or shrubs. Distributed in Guangxi, Guangdong, Guizhou, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hunan and other places.
