Climbing shrubs. Stem slender, white villous. Leaflets 3, 2-type, petioles 2-6 cm long, elliptic or obovate, 4-6 cm long, 3-5 cm wide, apex obtuse, base round, glabrous; leaflets of upper leaves sessile, heart-shaped or nearly round, amplexicaul, smaller; stipules ovate lanceolate, base heart-shaped, longitudinally ribbed, stipules lanceolate. Raceme axillary, flowers many and dense; bracts lanceolate; calyx campanulate, calyx teeth triangular; corolla purple; ovary sessile, glabrous. Pods flat, strip, yellow, about 5 cm long. Seeds numerous, brown, reniform.
In sunny wasteland, hillside and shrubbery. It is distributed in Yunnan and other places.
