[plant morphology] Bergamot
Evergreen epiphytic vines with aerial roots on nodes. The stem is much branched and nodose. The leaves are oblong or lanceolate, two node compound. Flowers bisexual, for a spherical or cylindrical inflorescence of flesh, green. The berry is red with 1-3 seeds.
Attached to a stone or tree. It is distributed in Yunnan, Guangxi and other places.

Bitter, pungent and warm.
Functions and indications: Shujin Huoluo, Jiegu Xujin, Sanyu detumescence, Qufeng dampness. Treatment of traumatic injury, fracture, rheumatism, bone pain, lumbocrural pain.
[usage and dosage] take orally: soak wine, 0.5-1 Liang. External use: tamping.
