[plant morphology] Sichuan Raspberry
Deciduous shrubs. It is 2-5 meters high. Stem cylindrical, spinless, densely grayish brown pubescent, sometimes mixed with setae. Single leaf, nearly nursery or broadly ovate, 6-17 cm in diameter, apex acute or obtuse, base heart-shaped, margin irregularly serrated, often 5-7-lobed, rough above, gray green below, reticulate veins obvious, with short villi; petiole 5-7 cm long; stipules wider, nearly oval, base asymmetric, tip shallow, with early drop. Panicle terminal or axillary; pedicel and pedicel densely villous; flowers purple, 1-1.5 cm in diameter; calyx lobes triangular ovate, apex caudal tip, inner and outer sides hairy; petals obovate; stamens numerous. Aggregate fruit subglobose, 6-8 mm in diameter, black. The flowering period is from June to July. The fruit period is from August to September.
It grows on hillside, roadside, forest edge, forest and shrub. It is distributed in Sichuan, Guizhou, Hubei and Tibet.
