Perennial herbs, 50-90 cm high, all with short hairs. The root is oblong. Stem erect, upper part often branched. Leaves alternate, petiolate, triangular, broadly ovate, 7-15 cm long, pinnate, lobed, with coarse teeth. Inflorescence numerous, integrated panicle shaped; flowers yellow, involucral bracts usually 5; peripheral ligulate flowers female, fruity; central tubular flowers bisexual; stamens 4-5, anthers connate; ovary inferior. Achene oblong, corolla 6 mm long.
Born in the wet and shady place by the valley. Distributed in Shaanxi, Gansu and other places.
