[source] tuber of Typhonium flagelliforme (Lodd.) Blume.
[plant morphology] perennial herb. Tuber conical, elliptic or obovate, 1-2cm in diameter, with broad sheath below the upper part; leaf blade halberd oblong, anterior lobes larger, oblong or oblong lanceolate, lateral lobes smaller, long triangular. The inflorescence stalk is slender; the bract tube is green, the eaves is green to green white, and the top is long flagellate or short. The fleshy inflorescence is longer or shorter than the spathe, with yellowish green appendages at the top. Female inflorescence ovate, neutral inflorescence conical, male inflorescence yellow. Ovary obovate or subglobose. The berries are oval and green. The flowering period is from April to May and the fruiting period is from June to July.
They are found in fields, streams or low-lying wetlands. It is mainly produced in Guangxi.
Remove the fibrous roots and dry the tubers.
