[plant morphology] Stephania glabra
Succulent herbs, 20-50 cm high. Stem grayish brown, draped or prostrate on rock, nodose, with distinct tubercles. The leaves are 10-15 cm long and 4-5 cm wide. Inflorescence in lower part of stem, globose, green, with a short stalk.
Born in wet rock. It is distributed in Yunnan, Guangxi and other places.
[collection] all year round. Dried fresh or sliced.
[flavor] light, slightly bitter, cool.
[function indications] bone grafting, detumescence and stasis, cooling blood and detoxification. Treatment of fractures, injuries, burns, nameless swelling, skin ulcers.
[usage and dosage] external use: tamping.
[selection] treatment of fracture: shigudan, shibeng leg, climbing tree dragon. Mash the same, add pepper, mix well, apply to the affected part, change the dressing once every three days, use five to seven doses. (the following is a selection of Yunnan Simao Chinese herbal medicine.)
