[plant morphology] Cymbidium goeringii
Perennial vine herb, 1-1.5m long. Stems prostrate, with adventitious roots, densely white pilose. Single leaf opposite; nearly leathery; long elliptic, elliptic lanceolate, 3.5-11 cm long, apex obtuse, entire, slightly retrovolved, with arachnoid hairs on top, rough, densely pilose below; petiole stout, densely pilose. Cymes axillary; pedicels stout, densely hairy. Capsule linear, apex pointed. The seed has a white tuft at one end. The flowering period is from May to June. The fruit period is from July to October.
Born on hillside rocks. It is distributed in Southwest China.
