Amomum shell

[source] it is the shell of Amomum villosum or shrunken sand of Zingiberaceae. For plant morphology, please refer to "Amomum villosum".
[medicinal materials] 1
It is a dry fruit shell of plant Amomum villosum. It is semi oval or semi ovoid, and its capsule is split in involution. It is brown in appearance, with short spiny protuberances. There are fruit stalks or total fruit stalks at the base. The inner surface is light brown with obvious vascular bundles. Light and fragrant.
② Shrinkage crust
It is the dry shell of plant shrinkage sand. The outer surface is yellowish brown to grayish brown, densely covered with flaky protuberances, and the others are the same as the Amomum shell.
