Subshrub climbing vines, up to 1-3 m high. Single leaf opposite, ovate elliptic or lanceolate, 6-10 cm long, 1.5-3 cm wide, apex pointed, base round, entire, dark green above, brown below, membranous, veins 3-5 pairs; petiole 3-5 mm long; Stipule 3-4 mm long. Cymes capitate, terminal or axillary; flowers pale green. Capsule small. The seeds are numerous and very small. The flowering and fruiting period is from March to November.
It grows in the wild, sparse forests and shrubs.
