Shrubs climbing, stems and leaves nearly glabrous. Inflorescence axillary; flowers yellowish or greenish, rarely reddish outside; sepals ovate lanceolate, 1.5-2 cm long, margin densely short hairy, sometimes hairy inside. Achene ovate, flat; style 3-9 cm long.

In fixed desert, hillside, grassland. Distributed in Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Gansu, Xinjiang and other places.
