Small shrub, about 30 cm high, smelly when kneaded. Stem erect, angulate, covered with light brown coarse hairs, upper part slightly square, lower leaves falling behind, leaving large stipules. Single leaf opposite, rhomboid ovate, 21-27 mm long, 8-10 mm wide, apex pointed, base cuneate, entire, only midrib distinct, both sides covered with light brown Tricholoma; petiole shorter, about 3 mm long; basal leaflet 2, about 4 mm long, apex subulate. Flower cluster with branch apex, 3 flowers in each cluster, base with lanceolate bracts, apex subulate; flower light reddish purple, densely hairy, Corolla tube slender, narrow funnel-shaped, apex 5-lobed, base with membranous bracts. Capsule narrow, obovate, ca. 10 mm long, light brown, covered with white hirsute.
