[plant morphology] Millettia miscantha
Annual or biennial erect herbs, 20-40 cm tall, usually divergent above middle. The stem is square, hairy and rootless. Cauline leaves broadly ovate or suborbicular, bracts broadly ovate or suborbicular, apex of marginal teeth awned. Calyx 3.5-5 mm long, 4-lobed, lobes lanceolate triangular, acute. Corolla lip shaped, lobes top concave, head 2-lobed; pale yellow, striped; stamens 4, bracts as long as flowers. The fruit is stored in calyx, capsule and many seeds.
It grows in forest, shrub or mountain grassland. Distributed in Northeast, northwest and other places.
