Sawtooth rattan

[source] it is the whole plant of Sabina cordifolia.
[plant morphology] Sabina serrata
Annual herb, 20-80 cm high. Recumbent or slightly inclined. The roots are mostly fibrous. Stem 4-angled, branched, with barbs on the edge. Leaves 4-8 whorls, membranous, sessile, oblong, apex obtuse, acutely pointed, base cuneate, entire. Inflorescence 4-flowered, light green, axillary.
Born in the field, forest, roadside. It is distributed in Tibet.
[collection] harvest from June to August. Wash, cut and dry.
[nature and taste] it is mild in nature, sweet, pungent and slightly bitter in taste.
Functions and indications: clearing away heat and toxin, activating blood circulation and dredging collaterals, diuresis and hemostasis.
[prescription selection] ① treatment of traumatic injury, muscle and bone pain, appendicitis, blood in urine: three to five dollars of Sabina. Fried soup.
② Treatment of sprain swelling and pain and pyogenic paronychia: fresh sawing vine mashed compress.
