Perennial herbs, 20-90 cm high. Rhizome erect, with dense lanceolate scales at the base of petiole. The leaf blade is lanceolate, papery, 15-25 cm long, 2.5-3.5 cm wide in the middle, almost invariable and narrow in the base, nearly smooth, once pinnate; the middle pinnate is 1.2-1.8 cm long (a pair of base is slightly short), 6-8 mm wide in the base, obliquely oblong or rhombohedral triangular, acute and with a convex tip, and the upper side of the base is slightly shorter Broad, triangular, convex, incised below, margin triangular acutely serrate; veins pinnately branched.
