[plant morphology] planting seedling bubble, also known as huangsuo Mei (Diannan materia medica).

Evergreen shrub, 1.5-3 m high. The stems, petioles and rachis were covered with reddish brown hairs, barbs and dense brown bristles. Leaflets broadly obovate or obcordate, central leaflet larger, 4.2-5.5 cm long, 4.6-6 cm wide, apex truncate or rounded, usually concave, base broadly cuneate, margin serrate, upper green, villous along veins, lower pink green, densely covered with white villi; total petiole 1.6-2.5 cm long; stipules needle shaped, about 3 mm long. Flowers in dense cymes, white or reddish, about 7-10 mm in diameter; sepals 5, broadly ovate, hairy on both sides; petals 5, obovate; stamens numerous, separated; pistils numerous, styles several terminal. Aggregate fruit globose, orange, small stone fruit with 1 seed. It blooms in spring.
