[plant morphology] Acacia cantonensis
Woody vines, up to 1 m long, often scattered on the ground or wound around other plants. Taproot stout, up to 60 cm. The stem is thin, dark red purple, and the young part is densely covered with yellowish brown hairs. Double pinnate compound leaves, leaflets 7-12 pairs, obovate oblong or rectangular field shaped, 5-12 mm long and 3-5 mm wide, membranous, few sessile, apex truncate with small sharp, base shallow heart-shaped, sparsely hairy above, coarsely attached below, veins protruding on both sides; stipules opposite, linear lanceolate; stipules conical. Raceme axillary, flowers ca. 6 mm long; calyx campanulate; corolla prominent, purplish red; stamens 9, connate into a tube, attached to the petal, upper part separated; ovary nearly sessile, style short. The pods are oblong, flat, sparsely yellowish hairy, with caudate apex; the seeds are 4-5, oblong, flat, smooth, dark brown or yellowish at maturity, with obvious caruncle. It's spring and summer.

[clinical application] treatment of acute infectious hepatitis
Take 2-3 taels of dried chicken bone grass (1-2 taels for children) and 2 taels of lean pork, and fry them with 1000 ml water. 44 cases were treated and 42 cases were cured. The average cure time was 21 days. Jaundice disappeared for 15 days on average; liver function recovered for 18-21 days; hepatomegaly gradually returned to normal with the recovery of liver function.
