Herbs perennial, up to 1 m tall, with long taproot, smooth or distally slightly ciliate. Stem glabrous, finely longitudinally corrected. Leaves alternate, palmately 5-7-lobed, broadly cuneate, all notched, smooth on top, sometimes with setae on veins, smooth on bottom, surrounded by Lei like setae; petiole at base 14-16 cm long, petiole at upper part shorter.
