Ligularia ovalis
Perennial herbs, white woolly, up to 60 cm high. Basal leaves with long petiole, leaf blade suborbicular or ovate, 9-15 cm long, 8-12 cm wide, Geranium cordate, margin with regular triangular teeth; cauline leaves sessile, base embracing. The pedicel is drawn out from the leaf cluster, the head is arranged in corymbose shape, drooping; the involucral bract is 1 layer; the flower is yellow, the marginal flower is tongue flower, and the disk flower is tube flower. Achenes have a corolla.
Born on the hillside. Distributed in Tibet and other places.
The root of Ligularia acuminata is also used as medicine in Tibet.

Bitter and warm.
Functions and indications: dispersing cold, moistening lung qi, resolving phlegm, relieving cough and diuresis. Treatment of cold cough, bronchitis, tuberculosis, hemoptysis, pharyngitis.
