Semi shrub, about 2 meters high. The whole plant is densely covered with white fluff or powdery, with aroma. The leaves are pinnate, 18-20 cm long and 6-8 cm wide, with powdery hairs on the top and fine hairs on the bottom. The leaf margin is serrated, the petiole is 4-5 cm long, and the petiole on the upper part of the stem is short or almost sessile. The inflorescence is small, arranged in panicle, large, terminal, salty axillary, pedicel hairy; the flower is yellow; the bract is elliptic; the marginal flower is tubular, female, and the disk flower is bisexual. Achene, white crested or yellowish.
It grows in low mountains, hills and forest margin. It is distributed in Yunnan.
