The total length can reach more than 2 meters. The head is oblate; the boundary between head and neck is not obvious. The scales can be seen from the back. The width of the nasal scale is larger than that of the nasal scale, and its suture line with the snout scale is much shorter than that with the nasal scale. The suture line between the two scales is equal to the distance from the front edge to the rostrum, wider than the length, and the outer edge covers the cephalic side. The frontal scale is large in front and small in back, and its length is equal to the sum of nasal scale and forehead scale. The scales on the eyes are wide and long, and the distance from the front edge of the scales to the rostrum is equal. The nostril is oval, located in the middle of 2 nasal scales. [collection] from April to November. After catching, the snake is killed, and the internal organs are removed by laparotomy. The snake is made into a circle and smoked with firewood. When smoked, the snake is turned frequently until the surface is slightly black, and then dried in the sun or on the Kang.

[medicinal materials] most of the dried products are rolled into discs with a diameter of about 16 cm. The head is oblate, slightly like the glans, disk in the center, there are many small spiny teeth in the mouth. The tail is gradually thin, and the tail end is inserted into the abdominal cavity of the outer edge. The ridge is high and roof shaped, commonly known as sword ridge.
