Perennial herbs. There are more than ten roots. 1 large leaf, basal; petiole about 16 cm long; leaf blade ovate triangular, about 50 cm long or larger, about 33 cm wide, apex acuminate, with small cusp, base broadly cuneate or nearly truncated, leaf margin irregularly serrate, both sides coarsely hairy, with brown spots above. The head inflorescence is about 24 mm in diameter, arranged as raceme, the peduncle is slender, woolly, with 2-3 narrow lanceolate bracts; the involucre is bell shaped, bracts are 2-type, the outer one is narrow, the inner one is wide and obvious, and the edges are membranous; the ligulate flower is one row, yellow, female, with sparse growth; the Corolla is linear oblanceolate; the tubular flower is bisexual, yellow. Achene narrowly columnar, brown, corolla yellowish white. It blooms in autumn.
It grows in the area with thick soil on the hillside. It is distributed in Yunnan and other places.
