[plant morphology] delphinium, also known as Delphinium grandiflorum.
Perennial herbs, 35-65 cm high. Stems sparsely branched. The leaves are round, oblong, 2.2-6 cm long, 4-8 cm wide, 3-lobed, lobes finely lobed, lobules strip-shaped, 0.6-2.5 mm wide. Raceme with 3-15 flowers, axis and pedicel with retroflexed pubescence; flowers symmetrical; bracteoles strip-shaped or subulate; sepals 5, petaloid, blue or purplish blue, 1.5-1.8 cm long, upper 1 with spur, apex often concave; petals 2, smaller, with spur, spur protruding into calyx spur; staminodes 2, petals broadly obovate, slightly concave, with yellow beard; stamens numerous; carpels 3 , leaving life. Follicles 3 aggregated. The flowering period is from August to September. The fruit period is from September to October.
It grows on hillside, grassland and fixed dune. Distributed in Yunnan, Shanxi, Hebei, Ningxia, Sichuan, Gansu, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Xinjiang, Tibet and other places.
